Kaniva International and Dijiwa Sanctuaries Partner to Develop Hospitality Talent

Kaniva International Hospitality and Cruise Campus and Dijiwa Sanctuaries signed a collaboration agreement on Saturday, 7 August 2021, at the Kaniva School Building in Badung. This collaboration aims to improve the quality of education in order to produce excellent human resources in the hospitality sector. The collaboration also symbolizes the optimism of both parties to remain productive during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are very grateful that Dijiwa Sanctuaries is willing to collaborate with us. This adds to our enthusiasm in advancing the quality of education,” said the Director of Kaniva International, I Gusti Ketut Suranatha.

He believes that this synergy will have a positive impact on the development of both Kaniva International and Dijiwa Sanctuaries. That spirit, he added, is in line with Kaniva International’s commitment to providing opportunities for success for the younger generation. Despite the pandemic, Suranatha said that public interest in studying at Kaniva International has remained relatively stable.

In 2020, the school had 180 students. Meanwhile, in 2021, it received 127 students. He said he was very grateful for that number.

The Director of Dijiwa Sanctuaries, I Nyoman Suwamana Wahyu Putra, explained that his party would encourage various strengthening efforts to help Kaniva International become even more qualified.

“We will strengthen the branding and support Kaniva International in becoming a higher education institution. Dijiwa will be part of it. Through this, we will develop human resources and produce young talents,” Wahyu explained.

In the near future, the two companies will establish a business plan regarding what needs to be optimized during the pandemic. Wahyu said he is optimistic that this synergy will be mutually beneficial. Amid the sluggish tourism sector, Wahyu considers tourism to be a sustainable business.

The activity was also attended by representatives from each company, instructors, and students. The activity continued to implement standard health protocols.
